Charts can be shown in Line, Area, Column, Bar and Pie type.
Text Group:
Made up by Tool Tip property.
Tool Tip in Development Mode
Style Group:
Determines type of the chart and being Local or Remote of associated historical tags.
Value:
Determines historical tags that will be monitored by series assotiating tags with series. Series located inside the top combobox. Tag is selected from taglist in this menu.
Import XML File:
Imports Chart configuration to XML file.
Export XML File Without Data:
Saves Chart configuration to the XML file without data.
Wizard:
Chart configuration interface.
Adding Chart Object to the Screen
Type of the Chart determined as Standart, Sequental or XY from top Combobox.
X Axis:
Specifies which database rows monitored on X axis. As a X axis value, Tag or LastValue can be selected from Tag List inside this menu.
If you select a Tag from tag list, X axis monitors the database rows that this tag indicates.
If you select a LastValue from tag list, X axis monitors the newest rows.
The length of X axis is specified in X Axis Length property.
LastValue should be selected for Real Time chart.
In case of containing more the one chart in chart area, Top combobox indicates the chart these configurations applied to.
X Axis Length:
Determines length of X axis. If Date Time selected in the Chart Wizard's X Axis page, this menu contains a combobox at the top. This combobox contains Second, Minute, Hour and Day items for specifying unit of X axis.
Export XML File Include Data:
Saves Chart configuration to the XML file with data.
Chart Type Page:
Chart type can be selected as Line, Area, Column or Pie from the Chart Type Groups Combobox.
A selection made from bottom combobox as a Local ve Remote. Local option has no sub option and it is for using tags on the Local machine.
Server Address: Address of connected computer.
Server Database: Name of the connected Database.
User Name: Username for connecting Remote SQL Server. Default password is "sa".
Password: Password for connecting remote SQL Server. Default password is "12341234".
Remote option is for connecting and monitoring remote tags on the chart. It has 5 sub option.
A little time freeze on the screen could be occurred when remote connection failed.
Test Connection: Tests the connection.
3D Page:
Contains a settings about chart's 3D presentation.
Appearance Page:
Contains a setings about chart appearance. Style List tab contains many templates.
Series Data Page:
Serie adding and removing operations are made in Series Data tab in this page. These series associated with the tags by Value group in the chart properties.
When adding new series to the existing ones, new serie colors could be the same as existing ones. To make each serie color unique, you should remove existing ones and add all in once.
Axes Page:
Page for configuring axis.
Values Type can be selected as Numeric or DateTime in Axis X tab.
If it is wanted X axis represents a DateTime, at Value Types section DateTime should be selected.
If it is wanted X axis represents a database rows, at Value Types section Numeric should be selected.
Legend Page:
Contains a settings about Legend.
Point Labels Page:
Contains a settings about Point Labels.
Chart Title Page:
Chart title configuration page.
Chart Builder:
Dundas Chart Builder is free, handy and robust chart editing tool to create charts/templates and passing them to WinTr. Dundas Chart Builder is avilable following address:
In Tools menu, Advanced Properties contains many settings about Appearance, Behavior, etc.
Designed Chart can be exported as .xml format then imported in WinTr.
Revers of this operation is also available.
Adding to screen:
Chart object located in the menu which opens when right clicked on empty space at Screen Designer.

Chart object has a 10 property group as Text, Style, Animation, Value, Function, Enable, Wizard, Import XML File, Export XML File Without Data, Export XML File Include Data.

Tool Tip:
The title which will be located on the report and on the exported PDF file. Also the message that appears when mouse waits on the object.
In the development mode, as a Tool Tip, objects name and message shown.
In the Runtime, only message shown.
Animation Group:
Objects can be moved on horizontal and vertical axis and their size and visibilities can be changed.
Visible:
Used for determining object visibility. If tag's value 0 or negative which selected from tag list, object becomes hidden, if value bigger than 0 object becomes visible.
Location X:
Object's horizontal location can be changed by the tag which connected to object's Location X property.
Location Y:
Object's vertical location can be changed by the tag which connected to object's Location Y property.
Height:
Determines object's height. Tag's value which selected from tag list, determines object's height.
Width:
Determines objects width. Tag's value which selected from tag list, determines object's width.
Function:
The functions for Mouse Down and Mouse Up events which occurs when user clicked on the object are defined here.
Function window opens when user clicked this properties.
Enable:
When tag's value bigger than 0, which selected from tag list, object becomes active. On other cases object is disabled.
This property can be used when object access is wanted to be controlled. Additionally, accessing to object can be controlled according to User Level with PasswordLevelX tags.
At the top menu, Chart Builder has own help pages also.
Chart Builder has a sections that accessed by right side buttons.
Appereance:
Whole chart appearance can be configured by Appearance section. It has Background, Titles, Chart Area, Legend, Series, Axis and 3D sections at the bottom.
Series:
Section for adding and removing series.
Axis:
Contains a settings about titles, gridticks and labels.
Titles:
The section for configuring chart Title.
Legend:
The section for configuring Legend.
Chart Runtime Mode Operations:
In Runtime Mode, Chart can be exported as Excel or PDF. Additionaly, user can zoom to chart in detail.
Chart's right click menu contains Export, Print and Zoom commands.
Zoom can be undone by clicking reset buttons on the axis.
Zoom:
If displayed data amount is huge, chart can be zoomed in detail.
Export Excel:
Exports chart data to Excel.
Export PDF:
Saves chart to PDF file. If zoomed, chart exported as it looks.
Style of print page is specified by Page Setup setting in Print group.
Printer:
Printer group in the right click menu, contains printing commands.
Preview, displays the page. If zoomed, chart printed as it looks.
Export XML File:
Saves chart template as XML file including datas. This XML file can be opened with Chart Builder.
Chart can be zoomed by selecting zoom command on the right click menu or dragging mouse on the chart.

Excel Exported Chart Data
If data length is too big, it is shown in percentage of whole. The values that not shown are can be reached by dragging zoom on the chart.
Next combobox in this menu determines if X Axis length will be constant or it will determined by a Tag.
If constant is selected, value entered bottom textbox.
If Tag selected, the tag for the X axis length is selected from bottom list.
